Expansions and irradiation: pulsing vibrations of color. They have a strict radial symmetry expressing in the rugged surfaces, boiling and tormented, one vital impulse in dramatic tension, They want to express the concerns materializing the sense of existential chaos.

Astrid Pesarino has a preference for female figures by soft but plastic shapes; she paints her figures in pairs, which are concentrated upon quiet conversations or tenderly embraced.These figures just seem to contain an apparent quieteness. She likes drimming colours and chooses the shades of blue, which is simbolically linked in the female world, or thouse of red that give a strong emotion to the delicate figures. These become pictures of spirits boned to the inevitable misery of life looking for comfort by the other "fellow of sorrow". It is a dramatic reflection about existence but nevertheless there is a hope for a redemption of sorrow which emerges throught the hope in the love confidence.
