RESUME

My passions

There have always been two passions in my life: art and literature.

I had the good fortune of being able to accomplish both, thanks to the enthusiasm and cooperation of wonderful people. From this union was born in 2010 Tempi Irregolari Literary Agency and, in 2014, Artì Gallery.

Art

As I studied  at university, I improved my painting training with a renowned painter of Trieste, Marino Cassetti. I became his assistant, thus having the opportunity to take part to interesting jobs for the city of Trieste and abroad. After graduation in 1998 I started teaching art and literature at hight schools, writing art criticisms for various artists and presentingt exhibitions. In 2007 I became the artistic director of an art gallery in  Trieste. I have also written articles about exhibitions and artists for a cultural magazine.

Winner in many art prizes, I have showed my pictures in collective and solo exhibitions in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Portugal.  In July 1998, in Austria, on the occasion of the important exhibition "The Ship Sails On ..." set up in the Stadtmuseum Graz, I shared a room with Marino Cassetti.

Then I was kindly invited from the Cultural City Network of Graz and had, in the 2000, a solo exhibition in the Schaukastl Gallery. The collaboration continued in 2001 when I was invited by the city of Graz to participate in the project "Auschloss der andere Blick" which included a program of solo shows (supported by, among other, by the European Union and Caritas) dedicated to young artists of central Europe.

I has worked for artistic installations in Triest: I drawned and painted a big sign-board ( 6x8 m.) for the International Contemporary Art exhibition " Objects of Desire. Still Life today". In the1998 I was selected to take part to OPEN, IIth biennial exhibition of youngs painters under 3O years organized by the city of Padova.

Literature

In 2010 I founded with Stefano Bisacchi the TEMPI IRREGOLARI LITERARY AGENCY.

Giving the agency its name, we wanted to highlight the dimension in which the present world is debating: the irregularity of our time that is irregularity of ideas and identity, of civilization and culture, of society and markets, of artistic expressions and language.

We represents publishers from Italy (Lit Group- Castelvecchi, Elliot, Orme, Arcana-, Mursia, Lindau, Arkadia, Zandonai, Scrittura&Scritture, Scienza Express, Buk, some titles by Gems and Bompiani), France (Hugo&Cie), Spain (Edebè, Algaida). Wr are specialized, because of our geographical location, in publisher from Eastern Europe (Slovenia: Mladinska Knija Zalozba, Cankarjeva Zalozba, Modrjan Zalozba, Zalozba Mis; Serbia: Kreativni Centar) We're co-agent for some Eastern European countries of Beria & Griffini, Silvia Meucci Lit.Ag., Anna Spadolini Lit.Ag.

We features Italian authors (including the creator of Nathan Never, Bepi Vigna) and international, including two candidates for the Nobel Prize: Boris Pahor and Milorad Pavic (heirs), Alojs Rebula, the Australian author Tom Petsinis (The French Mathematician), the English author Jared Cade, Hervé Gagnon from Canada.
